Why It Works
Yoga helps reduce symptoms of anxiety by calming overactivity in the amygdala (the brain’s fear detection centre) and strengthening the prefrontal cortex (the part of the brain responsible for clarity and rational thinking).
Through mindful movement, breath awareness and rest, you’ll begin to rewire your stress response and build nervous system resilience from the inside out.

You can expect a grounding, energising yoga flow class for all levels, with plenty of options to take, or ignore, depending on how you’re feeling in the moment.

📚 Yoga & the brain
An educational session about what’s happening in the brain and body with anxiety and useful, practical tools and information to increase your nervous system resilience and to decrease the hold that anxiety has on your life.
🌿 Calming yoga relaxation
Having energised and woken up the body in our morning flow, and then learnt about the stress response and the relaxation response, this calming session is an opportunity for us to put it all together. Expect to get super comfy and warm and be guided by Holly into a state of deep relaxation.
💜 Closing ceremony
Expect to reconnect with your body and feel super grounded yet present and awake. There will be a chance to ask absolutely any questions too.
